The Peruvian government published the declaration of interest of the private initiative project "Wastewater treatment system of the Titicaca lake Basin”
The Peruvian government published on March 21 the declaration of interest of the private initiative "Wastewater treatment system of the Titicaca Lake Basin", presented by "Consorcio Aguas de Puno". This project, which will require an estimated investment of US$ 600 million, will allow the treatment of wastewater from the main districts located on the Peruvian side of the Titicaca Lake basin, as well as the recovery of the existing sanitation infrastructure.
Rubio Leguía Normand’s team, led by partners Milagros Maraví and Carlos Arata, advised the proponent consortium during the discussions with ProInversión to establish the terms and conditions that allowed obtaining the declaration of interest.
Those third parties interested in the development of the project will have a period of 90 calendar days counted from March 22nd to formally submit their interest to ProInversión.
