ProInversión carried out a roadshow in London to present a portfolio of 20 projects ready for awarding between 2018 and 2020 in different economic sectors, under the "Public-Private Partnership" scheme

With the participation of more than 100 British investors, ProInversión successfully presented the portfolio of projects under the "Public-Private Partnership" scheme for the period 2018 - 2020, in a session held on June 25 in London.

The event, organized by the Embassy of Peru in the United Kingdom, registered great assistance from private investors interested in the economic development of the country and the needs of investment in the infrastructure sector, a gap that to date remains at US$ 160 billion .

The executive director of ProInversión, Alberto Ñecco, presented the portfolio of 20 projects ready for adjudication in the period 2018 - 2020, mainly in the transport, health, education, water and sanitation, mining, gas and transmission lines sectors. In order to provide greater detail of each of the projects, ProInversión held several meetings with major British firms for two days, including investment funds, contractors, consultants, specialized engineering firms, among others.

 

FRIDAY 29

  • ProInversión reported that it helds a portfolio of 60 infrastructure projects, mainly in the sanitation, improvement and road construction, mining and capital markets sectors (Gestión).


THURSDAY 28

  • ProInversión carried out a roadshow in London to present a portfolio of 20 projects ready for awarding between 2018 and 2020 in different economic sectors, under the "Public-Private Partnership" scheme (Gestión).

  • Several companies linked to the construction sector in Costa Rica are evaluating the opportunity to enter in construction projects of the National Reconstruction Plan (Gestión).

  • Bear Creek obtains authorization to begin construction works for the Corani mining project (Gestión).


WEDNESDAY 27

  • The Autonomous Authority of Majes of the Regional Government of Arequipa received the extension of validity of the environmental certification of the project "Majes Siguas II" by Senace, for the development of the second stage of such project, which will require an investment of US$ 500 million (Gestión).


TUESDAY 26

  • The Ministry of Transport and Communications reported that it is developing different transport projects in the Amazon region, such as the "Amazon Waterway" project, a project that was awarded to the Cohidro company and that will require an estimated investment of US$ 94.7 million (Gestión).
