SPOTLIGHT

Public Offer of Acquisition (OPA) presented by Dunas Energía

The Energy Group of Bogota (GEB) presented a public takeover bid (OPA) on the Lima Stock Exchange to obtain all of the shares of Dunas Energia, which in turn holds 99.96% of the Eletro Dunas shares.

Once closed, this investment will represent an important growth movement for the GEB, consolidating its position as one of the main investors in the Peruvian energy sector.

In Peru, the Electro Dunas Group carries out electricity distribution and commercialization activities in the Ica region and, partially, in the Huancavelica and Ayacucho regions, serving approximately 240,000 clients (Diario Gestion).

MONDAY 08

  • Grupo de Energia de Bogota (GEB) presented a public takeover bid (OPA) on the Lima Stock Exchange to obtain all the shares of Dunas Energía, which in turn holds 99.96% of Electro Dunas shares (Diario Gestion).

  • Graña y Montero Petrolera (GMP) completed the drilling of well N° 100 in lot IV since the license contract began in April 2015 (Diario Gestion).

  • The company Hudbay Peru plans to invest US$ 3 million in the realization of new explorations in the province of Chumbivilcas (Cusco), for the Quehuincha Norte mining exploration (Diario Gestion).


THURSDAY 04

  • Graña y Montero announced in a report that its subsidiary Graña y Montero Petrolera will invest US$ 38 million in oil lots this year (Diario Gestion).


WEDNESDAY 03

  • The company Ergon Peru, a subsidiary of the Italian Tozzi Green SpA, plans to sell green bonds for US$ 219 million this month, in order to refinance a loan and install solar photovoltaic panels around 200,000 homes (Diario Gestion).

  • Tinka Resources Limited announced that it plans an investment of US$ 262 million in the Ayawilca zinc project (Pasco) that considers the development of a mine with underground access (Diario Gestion).

  • Compañía Minera Lincuna intends to expand its resource size in the province of Aija (Ancash), with the largest exploration of lead mining structures, in addition to finding copper deposits (Diario Gestion).


TUESDAY 02

  • The mining company Bear Creek plans to start work on the Corani silver project (Puno) during the first half of next year, with an investment of US$ 585 million (Diario Gestion).
