Private initiatives for wastewater treatment plants

Between August 5 and September 17, a window will open and opportunity for private initiatives for the construction, operation and maintenance of six-wastewater treatment plant projects to be presented in the provinces.

The aforementioned projects, which must be developed in Ilo, Andahuaylas, Huancavelica, Barranca, Huaura, Iquitos and in native communities, will require an investment of US$ 1,0005 million.

Proinversion estimates that it will take at least nine months to be awarded, after the proposals are finalized in November (Diario Gestion).

MONDAY 22

  • The holding Intercorp Financial Services (IFS) placed US$ 414 million corresponding to nine million shares in order to strengthen the company's assets (Diario Gestion).

  • GeoPark expects in six months to present a new environmental impact study for the development of the Central Situche field in lot 64 (Diario Gestion).

  • PetroTal Corp. expects to increase production levels to 10,000 barrels per day in lot 95 by the end of the year, as part of the hydrocarbons production expansion program in Loreto (Diario Gestion).

  • Between August 5 and September 17, there would be an opportunity to present private initiatives for the construction, operation and maintenance of six-wastewater treatment plant projects in the provinces (Diario Gestion).

  • The consortium in charge of the Metro Line 2 project will issue bonds for US$ 539 million to finance the construction of the work (Diario Gestion).


FRIDAY 19

  • The Spanish engineering and construction company Sacyr, in a consortium with GCZ Ingenieros, will be responsible for the construction and installation of the Moquegua 1 and 3 hydroelectric plants in the south of the country, which will have an investment amount of US$ 115 million (Diario Gestion).

  • Proinversión announced that between August 5 and September 17 of this year it is raising the opportunity for the private sector to present proposals for the construction, operation and maintenance of six wastewater treatment plant projects (Diario Gestion).


THURSDAY 18

  • Intercorp plans to issue up to US $ 375 million of unsecured senior notes due in 2029 to refinance its existing US$ 250 million senior unsecured notes due in 2025 and to make additional investments in its subsidiaries (Diario Gestion).

  • Cofide will issue VAC bonds (debt in soles indexed to inflation) for up to US$ 35 million for a term of 10 years. Likewise, next Tuesday 23 they plan to issue short-term instruments for up to US$ 15 million for a period of 12 months (Diario Gestion).


WEDNESDAY 17

  • Arequipa has four large mining projects to be carried out, including the Pampa del Pongo, Zafranal and Don Javier projects, which together total an investment of US$ 5,357 million (Diario Gestion).

  • Line 2 of the Lima Metro will issue US$ 539 million in bonds to help finance the construction of the first underground subway in Peru (Diario Gestion).

  • Andean Airports of Peru will begin the preinvestment study at the project profile level, for the improvement of the international airport "Alfredo Rodríguez Ballon” de Arequipa (Diario Gestion).


TUESDAY 16

  • The company Kallpa Generación confirmed the presentation of its environmental impact study for the future construction of its RS3 hydroelectric plant, located in the departments of Apurímac and Cusco (Diario Gestion).

  • In an operation for US$ 23.4 million, Fibra Prime - Securitization Trust for Investment in Real Estate Income acquired the Schreiber Business Tower office building (San Isidro); and the commercial gallery and the office building El Virrey (Diario Gestion).
