Grupo Energia Bogota makes more purchases in Peru

Grupo Energia Bogota (GEB) reported that it made with the Blue Water Worldwide LLC fund the purchase of PPC Peru Holdings S.R.L and Cantalloc Peru Holdings S.R.L., for an amount not immediately disclosed.

It should be remembered that the previous week GEB (Gestion 08.08.2019) culminated the acquisition of Dunas Energía S.A.A. (DESAA), in turn owner of Electro Dunas S.A.A., through a public tender offer on the Lima Stock Exchange, the Colombian conglomerate said in a statement.

Thus, they stated in their statement that the Group is positioned as the leader in the energy sector in Peru, as it has 66.6% of the electric power transmission market, with an extensive network of more than 9,500 kilometers and 76.6% of the distribution of natural gas (Diario Gestion).


  • The portfolio of mining construction projects in the country consists of 47 projects for US$ 58,000 million. But of them, only six are in full construction, started last year and to be completed between 2019 and 2022, a period in which they will have required an investment of US $ 9,000 million, according to government figures.

  • Rappi has just entered Piura, investing US$ 2.5 million to increase the operation, attract distributors, users and allies.

  • Agroindustrias ADL S.R.L., Global Business Kibutz S.A.C., RCON Service S.A.C. and Contasis S.A.C., will invest more than US$ 250,000 in the Free Zone of Tacna, after winning the transfer of use of the property and equipment and infrastructure.
