Cusco Region standards tender LPG plant in 2020

 

The Regional Government of Cusco plans to convene a public tender in mid-2020 to tender the construction and operation of a natural gas fractionation plant in the area of ​​Kepashiato (Cusco), which will allow it to process Camisea natural gas for the provision of liquefied petroleum gas in that region, regional governor Jean Paul Benavente revealed.

 

 

They are currently completing the final investment study for this project, and that the next step, once the document is completed, will be to launch the public tender (Diario Gestion).

 

MONDAY 16
  • BP, one of the largest oil and gas producers in the world, enters Peru for the first time to conduct a geological evaluation of the Salaverry offshore (sea) basin. For this, Perupetro and BP signed six technical-contract evaluation agreements (CET-C) that will allow the company to carry out comprehensive geological-geophysical studies that increase the level of existing knowledge about the hydrocarbon potential of the Salaverry basin (Diario Gestion).
  • The Ministry of Energy and Mines granted Inland Energy the definitive concession to develop the electric power generation activity in the Santa Teresa II Hydroelectric Power Plant project, with an installed capacity of 280 MW, in the provinces of La Convencion and Urubamba, in Cusco. It also approved the concession contract with the aforementioned company (Diario Gestion).
  • With the objective of increasing its production, the Peruvian company that designs, manufactures and exports machinery specialized in underground mining, Resemin, plans to open a plant of more than 15,000 square meters in Chosica. For this they will allocate more than US$ 10 million (Diario Gestion).
FRIDAY 13
  • Telefónica S.A. It is considering seeking a strategic partner for its new Latin American unit or listing the business on the stock exchange, in its effort to monetize its position in the region outside Brazil (Diario Gestion).
  • The Executive approved an emergency decree that will allow the Ministry of Transportation and Communications to facilitate and accelerate the acquisition of land along a section of the so-called Southern Mining Corridor, which includes the departments of Apurímac and Cusco, with the approval of that rule, the negotiation process can be facilitated for the purchase of land to the communities and individual owners, which include the areas of influence of the road to be paved, and which also covers the area of ​​influence of the Las Bambas, Antapaccay and Constancia mines (Diario Gestion).
THURSDAY 12
  • Kallpa Generación would sign a loan from Scotiabank and SMBC to refinance the debt of the Puerto Bravo power plant in Arequipa. Samay I, a division of Kallpa, has arranged a 7-year loan for US$ 300 million to pay for the installation (Diario Gestion).
  • Quatro Inmobiliaria invests US$ 30 million in three projects that will be located in different districts of Lima (Diario Gestion).
TUESDAY 10
